A little about our town

La Pelada is located in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It was founded on May 31, 1892, and is situated in the northeastern part of the Las Colonias department.

Its patron saint festival is celebrated on August 20 (also known as the “town festival”), in honor of its patron saint, San Bernardo.

In addition to the agricultural and livestock activities that characterize the towns in the area, La Pelada has a rich history dating back to the early days of colonial settlement, when it was part of the “Camino Real” and various defensive forts were built there.
