Newspaper cutting about the unveiling of the Monument to the Mother in 1965 — School Nº502. Transcribed as printed: Monument to the Mother. — With authorities and residents of the town and colony of La Pelada in attendance, the ceremony was held to unveil the Monument to the Mother erected on the site occupied by School No. 502. This monument was raised with contributions from the whole village and colony, at the initiative of the Mothers' Club of that school. At the ceremony Mrs Elide T. Ravasio de Rosso, adviser to the said school body, gave an address.
